WordPress Plugin Vulnerabilities
Metorik – Reports & Email Automation for WooCommerce < 1.7.2 - Cross-Site Request Forgery
Description
The Metorik – Reports & Email Automation for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 1.7.1. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the set_metorik_auth_token() function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to update an auth token and enable cart tracking via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
